Hello and welcome to my blog!

I am a Portland, OR -based professional makeup artist and hair stylist specializing in bridal makeup and hair. A licensed esthetician, I am also known for my one-on-one makeup consultations (a signature combination of makeup lesson plus makeover) for women of every age. I use both airbrushing and traditional makeup to achieve a "natural glamour" look. My style has been described as fresh and lovely with a touch of glamour. I learned my craft in New York City from some of the world’s top artists and spent several years working in the area before returning to my beloved home state of Oregon. Besides connecting with new people, my passion is also product research, knowledge, and technique and I am always on a quest to discover the best of everything, no matter the brand. I am a participating pro for several programs (MAC pro, Bobbi Brown, Make Up For Ever, Stila, The Powder Group pro) and love to take advantage of the training they provide to continue learning, keep current and get new inspirations. I also hold a B.A. in Mass Communication and the title of "Mommy!" to two young boys. This blog is a way for me to share my adventures as I meet new people, learn new things, and try new products.
